Ok, I’ll be honest. I pretty much suck at time management.
It’s something that is extremely hard for me to do, I wake up at 5 and before I know it, it’s 10 PM and I’m ready to hit the bed.
It went like this for months until one day I said enough is enough.
I had to figure out a way to be more productive.
To get more done.
I started tracking where I was spending most of my time and figuring out how to cut distractions without having a bunch of apps on my lap and tablet.
So here are 2 free apps that I’ve been using to be way more productive and get more done in less time.
This is a chrome extension that hides the Facebook news feed and it’s a god send. I can log in to Facebook, message my clients or affiliates without getting distracted by the posts on my feed.
I only disable the plugin once all my work is done and I’m ready to take a look at the posts.
I cannot recommend this app enough. It’s just brilliant. What Toggl lets you do is list down all the things you need to get done for the day and then track exactly how much time each task took.
It’s not easy to get distracted when you have a timer running.
I don’t have to use these apps on a daily basis though. Once I’m actually focused on a project I work on it until it is done – all I have to do is start and these two apps are perfect for it 🙂
